January Minutes:
Old Business
Barrel Fill-
Discussed expectations for Barrel fill project. Started forum post on this topic to gauge interest and recipe ideas.
BRRFest-
No club presence this year. Free bus from White Star leaves at 12PM 1-26.
Red's Event-
Pouring event has been pushed back to 1-28 at 6 PM
Dues -
Dues should be remitted to treasurer directly in lieu of PayPal.
New Business
Bus-
Discussed two possible club bus purchase options. Separate forum post created on this item. Club is soliciting offers for technical expertise from members to reduce our possible costs.
Future club competition-
Suggestion was made to participate or steward with competitions sponsored by other clubs. The hope is to up our overall expertise level so that at some point we can offer our own competitions with more available judges than we currently have.
Guest speaker-
Greg Stokesberry from KNBO. KNBO is soliciting volunteers for an on air tasting 1-31 and perhaps a few more times in 2013. Forum posting created.
