I can't find the craigslist guy anymore. From the pics I remember the welds didn't look all that great. I know I am spoiled as everything is stainless and welded perfect where I work but stainless welds are tricky, especially sanitary ones that also need to be passivated, clean, and smooth.
I will go talk to the shop in marion. Thanks guys.

MJ.....are you the CL guy?
Small small world. Plus the resources of this group are amazing.
I hope I didn't offend in any way. I work in food manufacturing and we use all tri-clamp custom stainless on everything. The pipepro guys make the seams almost undetectable.
Honestly, sanitary is not a requirement as long as they are clean and relatively smooth. I can passivate with some acid myself. The TIG passivating process makes it purdy though.
I would like to check out your work sometime and maybe I can throw some business your way. I am tired of my weldless fittings and I am (still) going electric soon and want to tri-clamp the elements for easy cleaning. I will use 1.5" or 2" tri-clamps.

Thanks a ton.

That's not a unique description for this group!! You better have a white rose in your lapel or something else to identify yourself!
