Shameless Self-promotion from Reds

Hi everybody,

Here's what's coming up in North Liberty over the next couple of weeks.

We're rolling ahead with our Stout Month, and we're pouring JP Madrugada Obscura, Meantime Naval Academy Porter, Green Flash Double Stout, ET Imperial Biscotti Break, etc (8 lines and a bunch of bottles, currently).

The next Stout Month event is a cask night with a Glacier dry hopped Summit Oatmeal Stout, and a Summit Porter that has had something done to it. That's Feb 22nd starting at 11am. Summit has been kicking butt with their cask program, so get here to try these. ($5 on happy hour)

The capstone to Stout Month is our Bourbon County draft vertical on Thursday, Feb 28th. I know that we had planned it for the 22nd, but we didn't want everybody too hungover for the Bell's event in CR on the 23rd. Anyway, it's 2010-12 BoCo, 2011-12 Big John, 2012 Nightstalker (assuming the rumors about it don't hold true for the kegs), and limited BoCo variant bottle releases from the cellar.

Right on top of that is the Bell's HopSlam firkin on Friday, March 1.

If you have any questions, call the restaurant at 319-626-2100.

Cheers,
Bill Heinrich, BDI

Bill,
We set this area of the forum up precisely for venues and stores to tell us what you've got going on. Please continue to post and let us know what new beers you've got in at Red's! We Beer Nuts love to try new beers and special releases so promote away!

I'll keep on posting then if that's what it's here for.

There were a few things that I found in the cellar during the last inventory that I thought I'd mention before I forgot.

JP Sobrehumano 750ml
3F Schaerbeekse Kriek 750ml
Sierra/Dogfish Life and Limb #2 750ml
Mikkeller Black 2011 (I think, I need to double check that date)
GI Matilda 2010 and 2011 22oz
Mikkeller Beer Geek 2010 22oz

There was more, but that was the cool stuff.

Cheers,
Bill

Kent won't be there long enough for me to get there. Was anyone else going down?

Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road
