Judges and stewards can sign up now, Brewers can sign up starting tomorrow. We want to send people there to get some experience judging and stewarding. So, if you're interested, sign up

Is anyone planning to enter this event? I have a couple entries but I wasn't sure if anyone was making a trip that way for entry deliveries or not.

I'm planning to enter 7 beers, but am not planning to make the drive over.

I have 2 going, as well.

I need to figure out my march schedule, as the month is almost here. I may be up for a road trip depending on schedule and when the entries are due.

Entries are due by March 16h, so it would nee to be one of the next 3 Saturdays. It would be a fun trip as there are several new brewpubs in the Des Moines area, and El Bait Shop is fun too. Entries go to the homebrew store in Urbandale.

Toss in a side trip to HawgEyes BBQ and count me in for the road trip, even though I don't have any beers to enter.

I'm available the 9, 10, and 16th, if anyone else is interested in going.

Looks like beer crazy's hours are 10-7 Saturdays and 10-4 Sundays, which shouldn't be an issue.

On the entry form there is a bunch of recipe-specific info.  Does anyone know if we need to provide all the recipe details, or just the entry name & style category info?

you don't need to provide your recipe but they say that it can be helpful in judging your beer.

Just a reminder, Last year we had to DQ a few beers because there wasn't enough info on the entry.

If you're in the Fruit beer, SHV, wood aged, or specialty categories, read the style guidelines carefully. Some of the styles require you to state base beer, flavoring additions, etc.
