Kentucky Common Ale

I think someone wanted some information on this

The Kentucky common ale I poured last night was based on one this recipe. There is also links to the history of this type of beer. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/kiss-ye ... le-290419/

My notes on this beer are essentially non-existent, but I do remember adding some acid malt to the mash thinking this might give a little sour flavor, but this probably just helped the mash pH in the small quantities that were added.
