Benz Beverage will again be hosting the Cedar Rapids Beer Nuts for their Big Brew Day celebration. All are welcome to attend and learn more about home brewing beer or to see different kinds of brewing setups in action. This is a popular event every year and is shared by home brew clubs across the Nation.

We will officially began and 10am on Saturday, May 4th. Benz is letting us use space in their parking lot in front of the warehouse overhead doors. They will provide us with a hose and water supply that we can use for cooling and cleanup. We'll be responsible for everything else.

Please use this thread to discuss plans and coordinate. In past years we've also set up a BBQ station to cook and enjoy favorites such as brats, polish sausage, and "The Baconator".

If you intend to bring equipment and brew that day please make your intentions known so we can get a handle on this.

Kyle and me are planning to brew again this year. Not sure what we are going to brew. We will be brewing all grain flying sparge.

It is looking like rain saturday. I plan to bring my 10'x20' canopy to stay dry. We (Speer Brothers) plan get there a little ealy to set it. Say about 9:30. Anyone that could help set it up would be greatly appreciated.
