April Tech Meeting - Hydrometer/Refractometer Calibration

Thanks to the positive poll response, I'd like to plan on holding a Tech Meeting in April regarding Hydrometer/Refractomer calibration. I'll put together a couple of worksheets, some background info, & build a set of standard gravity solutions. What I can't do is host, so we need a volunteer.

Is anyone willing to host a tech meeting in one of the first two weeks of April? Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday work well for me. Preferably this will be a 7-9 pm meeting.

Agenda
-Background Info Review
-Instrument Calibration
-Future Tech Topic discussion

I would be interested and can check with my wife if I could host.

I'm interested in this, too.

Any word on if you can host, otherwise I can probably do it.

Yes.  Working on host location right now, should know in the next day.  Likely time is mid next week.

Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road

Clint & Dan -- I'd like to hold this next Wednesday or Thursday (April 10 or 11).  7-9 pm or 8-10 pm is fine with me.  Figure out which one of you wants to host this, otherwise we'll hold it at Bricks.  We should be able to shove enough tables together upstairs to hold a meeting.

All,

Let's plan on holding a Tech Meeting on Thursday, 11-April-2013, at Bricks, starting at 8 pm on refractometer and hydrometer calibration.  I'll bring handouts and calibration solutions.  We'll have a brief discussion then dive into calibrating our instruments.  We'll also have some discussion about potential topics for future tech meetings, which I intend to put up for a vote in the forums.

See you on Thursday,
Lee
