For those of you that don't know me on FB, I've got a new baby girl that was born on March 26. Was just wondering to all the dads out there if late nights with the kids looked liked this(giving mom a well deserved nap). Hopefully one of these doesn't get mixed up through the night. (our goal is to finally update FB tomorrow with pics, monday)
Thanks for all the support,
Kurt and Chelsea

Cammy showed me the news on FB, Congrats! And yeah, baby gets milk, dady gets beer. Don't worry, they eventually do sleep through the night and it is awesome.

Beer and babies go hand in hand. I made Savannah Stout (Chocolate and Coffee) less than a year in to my homebrewing career in honor of the birth of my first kid. The beer was in the bottle a couple months and I did not open one until she was born in April of 2003. That was also my first beer to win me a first place in a brewing competition.

Be careful, the homebrewing mind wanders in the middle of the night while attending to a new baby. I was really close to trying breast milk in a milk stout. The label idea in my head was equally awesome. After some sleep the idea fell to the wayside.
