Do we have to file a 990-N?

Just saw this on the AHA website and I was curious if we have to file anything.

I knew all the pieces that we have to file as a corporation in IA, but I was completely ignorant of that one.

By the way, I have to say that in this instance, the IRS is actually very cool.

1) They don't fine you if you forget.
2) They let you forget 3 years in a row before they get mad.
3) (Nicest bit) They will send you a reminder if you forget to file!

When was the last time that you heard of the IRS saying, "Hey, you forgot to file this form. Please file it. But no worries, we aren't fining you. Just don't do it two more times."

I didn't think i would hear the words "IRS is actually very cool" in the same sentence ever.

Note, I did say, "in this instance."  :-)  I make no claims about their "normal" operations!
