If you're interested, each plant is $2.50 and I can either bring them to the next club meeting, to Benz Fest this weekend, or we can make other arrangements.

Kim tells me she also has heirloom pepper plants available. Descriptions are below. They are $1.50 each.
Aji Cristal
Originally from Curico, Chile. Very heavy set of 3 ½ inch long fruits on large 3 foot plants. Waxy fruits ripen light green to yellow to reddish-orange. Excellent spicy citrus flavor is best when immature, great for salsa. 90 days from transplant. Hot.
Marconi Red
Prolific Italian heirloom prized for gigantic sweet red fruits. Delicious 12 inch long peppers are excellent eaten fresh or fried. 70-90 days from transplant. Sweet.
Ruby King
Early bell pepper that ripens from dark green to ruby red. Fruits grow to 6 inch long with thick sweet flesh, excellent for frying or fresh eating. 65-70 days from transplant.

I'm afraid the precious little babies might not survive Benz festival. Is there a time my wife can swing by this weekend and pick them up?

Absolutely. If she wants to swing by during Benz fest, it shouldn't be a problem since Kim will be home.

Will do. Kim confirmed she'll either be home tomorrow afternoon or will leave the plants on the front steps.

Can you bring me another Nyagous tomato plant to tonight's meeting? The first one isn't looking too well and I should get a second one as "insurance" in case the little guy doesn't make it. I think the 90+ degree day might have been too much for him.
