Wyeast...

I have about 20-25 slap packs of various Wyeast strains that I salvaged from Benz after the floods. They sat out of refrigeration for about 4 days before I took them home and put them in my fridge. Not sure if they are still good but if someone wants a pack or two they would be more than welcome to try them it out.

Sorry to hear about Benz. When do you think it will be back up and running?
I am sure that we might be interested in the yeast. Can you post what types you have available? Thanks

I would try some yeast too. I was not aware you were carrying Wyeast. I hope Benz will again as I would buy some there instead of mail order.

Here's a list of what I have...I had 16 packs and I am keeping 6 so there are 10 left to pick from. And yes, Benz will carry Wyeast again and will hopefully open in the next month or two, but it's sort of unknown exactly when. I will be out of town for the next week so decide what you want and first come first served. The first people who posted have the picks in the order they posted. Maybe someone who wants Wyeast can offer me a chance to observe some all grain brewing in exchange since the "Who's Brewing" board is pretty dead. Not obligatory, but would be nice since I am trying to learn.
Belgian Saison
German Ale
Trappist Ale
American Ale II
German Wheat
London Ale
Northwest Ale
American Ale
Pilsner Lager
Ringwood Ale
There are also 6 packs of Nottingham dry yeast if someone wants one.

Any chance that Benz will have a flood sale of any merchandise?
Looking forward to their re-opening - whenever.

I would be interested in several but I don't want to hog the yeast. I would love the London Ale and the Northwest Ale or one of the American Ale stains. Larry and I plan to brew a pale ale in July. Not sure which weekend yet but we usually brew on Sundays. I will post to who's brewing when I know when.

ok, so I am back in town and if someone wants to arrange to pick up their yeast I will be around during the day for most of the week. I live close to Washington High School and my phone number is 319-210-2531. Or I can just plan on bringing it to the next meeting.
Not sure if there are any conflicts about who wants what but I will check out who called it first.
Not sure about the flood sale. There has been talk but it's not definite yet.
