Mead Making

Post by quinton »

I am going to be getting my hands on some fresh from the hive honey in the coming months and was looking to make mead. I didn't know if anyone has experience in this and/or if I could be pointed in the direction of a good website that might direct me?

Also, I regretfully didn't make it to the meeting/bbq. I had a last minute conflict come up and had to bail. Hope a good time was had by all...And I still have yeast...no one has called me for it so it's up for grabs...

Quinton-
Brian Anderson is an expert meadist, his ancho chili mead was absolutely to die for - reminiscent of a fine smoked scotch...smokey smooth with just the right touch of heat....quite spectacular. Pete also has an extensive background in mead, as well as his own hives.
