July Minutes:
Old Business:
Club Competition-
Saison turn in is due today.
Constitution Revision-
Voting on posted revision by the cabinet. Approval carries with 18 Ayes, 0 Nays.
NewBo BBQ and Beer competition-
Reminder this is 7-20. 4 entries from the club.
New business:
Cabinet position opening- Treasurer -
James Potts has requested to step down as Treasurer. We have an opening on the cabinet at this time which would be temp until November elections and installation of a new Treasurer in January.
Upcoming events-
John Buck invited attendees to his home on 7-21 for a Belgian Beer Picnic.
Deschutes event with Woody and Big Grove grand opening Thursday 7-25 at Reds in North Liberty. This is a homebrewer only event.
Club BBQ Competition annual event is 7-26. Hosted by Mark Jensen. Chicken legs is the chosen BBQ style.
Independence Brew-B-Q is August 24th. The club will be attending as an official presence.
Fest Committee Meeting-
Next will be the week after the meeting, July 23rd 7PM at Bricks
August Tech Meeting -
Lee Paulsen is hosting this on August 8 at 6 PM. The topic is fermentation control, yeast starters and pitching rates. Handouts will be available.
