Great Taste of the Midwest

Sarah and I have decided to camp at Lake Farm county park this weekend. The park is right down the bike trail from the festival. And, it is going to save us over $300 in lodging.

We'll likely leave mid-afternoon on friday. And plan to be out and about friday evening. Saturday, my plan is to eat at the campground and walk to the festival. After the event, I will probably be taking the $1 cab ride back to the campground. Sounds like there are several people camping there for the fest, so there may be a party there.

What are your plans, especially for friday night? Let's hook up.

Kyle and I plan to get up to Madison around 5:30. We plan on bar hopping around down town. Text me when you get up there will let you know where we are.

Pottsi, Karl and I plan to leave around noon. I want to do some beer shopping before putting the car away. We are staying downtown and will be hitting some of the pre-parties Friday night. On Aug 6, 2013 2:45 PM, "middleTspeer" <brew-events@crbeernuts.org (brew-events@crbeernuts.org)> wrote:

I was checking out the campground location and if you zoom in on google maps to the birdseye view of Olin Park, it is a shot of the Great Taste. Tents, people, cabs, has to be shot same day as Great Taste.

New Glarus is releasing a new beer at the brewery this weekend, Very Very Sour Blackberry. Sounds like a slight detour is in order...
