I would totally volunteer for a clinical study. The gasous side effects could be horrible though.

Did this guy not realize what was happening when he had massive beer farts?

Also, that would be an interesting legal defense in case of a DUI.

If you recall, a guy tried to get out of one a few years ago by claiming that ketosis was causing ethanol production.  Sad thing is, even it was true, I'm thinking they would have found him guilty to stop a precedent from being set.
