Did you see that stainless bucket? $175 is an insane price and their conical is only $400. They're both out of stock, but I just added another toy to my Yuletide gift to self list.

I did see that and thought it looked like a great product. I am waiting to see what their 14 gallon chronical will cost. Been wanting a sweet conical for a long time.

You might want to look at Stouts too. Their 7 gallon conical fermenters start at $329.

SSbrewtech has massive back orders on this product. They are drawing randomly from the list and sending requests for payment via PayPal. I hope they get caught up soon because I want one, or two.
They are sending e-mail updates weekly if you get your name on the list

www.ssbrewtech.com has the pricing for their 7 and 17 Chronical fermenters up and the price points are most excellent. $395 and $595 respectively. The brew bucket went up from $175 to $225, but that's still very reasonable. MoreBeer has a pre-sale on the brew buckets currently, otherwise they are still all sold out.

just kegged the first batch from using the bucket, way easier than a racking cane. Also I was able to turn the racking cane all the way down and not suck down trub. rather happy with it so far pretty cool product.
the ball valve barb needs something smaller than 3/8 inch tubing. 3/8 doesnt make a tight fit on the barb, i am going to try 5/16 tubing on the barb next. Only downside so far it that it does take a longer to drain, oh and dont for get to take the airlock off or loosen the lid to drin it off.
