Where Are You Buying Hops?

Post by Matt F »

I thought it might be a good idea for us to share where we are buying hops in this time if need. For example, I checked Bluff Street Brew Haus in Dubuque today and they have some varieties and all are $2.50/oz. That is about as low as I have seen them lately. You can only get 8 oz. per order.

Also, I got 2 lbs., 5 oz. of dried cascades from my two hop plants this year all vacuum sealed and frozen. The aroma is incredible! I recommend you put some effort in to your hop plants for next year. I'll have rhizomes again in the spring.

I bought a couple pounds from Freshops in the spring. I also got a pound from Sam Adams. Thanks Again Jim Koch. I was going to plant some rhizomes this summer, but never did. Next year I will.

Midwest got a shipment of hops and has them as low as $2.40/oz. They are even selling pounds! They have cascades and many others.
