Cedar Rapids Brewing Society

looked for a current thread but all seem to be dusty. I am looking for big brew kettle or old kegs, and a mill, and good mash tun. any replies will be considered. I have been searching the net and the lists and the yards and the catalogues to no satisfaction. I am trying to break into the all grain arena and must do so slowly and on tight budget.

Do you have a turkey fryer or a 7 gallon pot? If so get a cooler for a mash tun and you are into all grain on the cheap. That's what I did this past summer.

Now I have 3 kegs to convert over time. The cooler setup works really well. So well I am somewhat reluctant to change much.

got the fryer yesterday but really want to do double batches since my supply is so low and time seems to be non existent these days.

Double batches would be nice. Back to back batches is too much time I don't want to spend
