My arteries hurt and I've got the meat sweats just looking at it.

Yeah, Amazingribs.com is my go to site for BBQ. Great combination of step by step and the reasons for doing them. Many sites have outdated or questionable methods that are based on common myths, and most haven't bothered to actually test them. This site is hugely informative. Of course, like anything food related, not everyone will agree with their recommendations.
