Bricks Smoker is up and running

Post by tony b »

Had the brisket sandwich last night before the hockey game. Nice. Only complaint was that they chopped the beef - Matt said the kitchen messed up and didn't know to slice it. Growing pains. Served on a nice toasted bun, with a smoked gouda cheese sauce (made with Stone IPA), and a couple of onion rings, which gave it a nice sweet component.

They also have pulled pork, with smoked wings and ribs to follow over the next couple of weeks. Matt said that they haven't figured out if they are going to add the smoked wings on Wednesdays or replace the Traditional Tuesdays. Nice to have some better food options to go with the great beer selection. Founders Imperial Stout went well with the brisket sandwich.
