Bacon, BBQ and Brews event in Mt. Pleasant June 28th

I was contacted by a former co-worker that now works for the chamber of commerce in Mt. Pleasant, IA about a homebrew contest they want to do. It is their first year for this event and it would be in the fashion of you bring a keg or couple cases of beer to pour for the public. I told them it sounds fun but our club may not have many people interested as it is 1.5 hours away and falls in between other events we do like Benz in May, NHC in June, NewBo in July, Independence in August, and our fest in October. They don't have any details online yet as they are still figuring out what they will be. I will keep you all posted if I get some more information. They will have other pro micorbrewers there too.
