fermenting 10 gallon batches

This might be a dumb thing to ask but I do 10 gallon batches and I chill, then whirlpool, then drain to 5 gallon buckets and pour them back and forth to mix. I am worried that both buckets would not be identical due to stratification of the wort if I filled one and then the other. I have also used a T fitting and 2 hoses to fill 2 carboys at once. I am going to a 20 gallon batch system so it will get even more complicated. Should I even be worried about the wort makeup on the bottom of the kettle vs the top after the whirlpool rest? Any experience? What do you big batchers do? Thanks.

Larger single fermenter, otherwise is it stratified after whirlpooling?

I generally just fill the fermenters one after the other.

I whirlpool in the kettle and have never seen a reason to believe the first bucket is different from the second.

I just fill one container at a time. I use to sample both when kegging to see if blending is necessary. In 12+ years of brewing I have not found much a of a detectable difference with my palate so I don't worry about it any more. This would be different when doing beers with bugs or wood aging where some tasting may lead to blending.

I never thought about over-thinking this aspect of 10 gallon batches.
Now yeast starters I worry I am not pitching enough. I made a huge 1700 ML starter last batch and just halved it into each bucket. WLP001 and it is down to 1.016 from 1.057 now so I can only assume it did a good job. Now I am reading stepped starters, etc....back to over-thinking it
