Cedar Rapids Brewing Society

Travis is leaving Third Base Brewery. His friend Bill Patterson is starting up a brewery in town called Turner Alley Brewing Company. The name refers to 5 Turner Alley which was Grant Woods home/studio downtown CR. Bill has asked Travis to come on board and run the brewery for him and he accepted.

15 bbl brew house and all the accouterments in a 7,000 sq ft warehouse located at 1149 27th Ave SW Cedar Rapids.

I am looking forward to seeing what they do.

Well then. Sounds like a job opening up at 3BB.

The location is less than desirable if they are going to be a bar/food joint.

Anticipated opening date?

No opening date. No food, not a bar. Going to be brewing beer and distributing to establishments. Not sure about any tap room or anything. I am sure we will know before it is open.
