Possible Tech Meeting Topic

I'm sure I'm no the only one that gets confused by all the different brewing system types out there. HERMS, RIMS, etc... I'd like to upgrade to something that would allow mash temp control, but don't really know/understand what all the options are. This might only be interesting to a small number of the members, but I think it would be really helpful for those that are looking at the myriad of upgrade paths.

Just wondering does anyone have a rims setup?

I have a thought of going that way whenever I upgrade.

My brother-in-law does. Says it works great but is a pain to clean.

I can try, but my utter confusion was my reason for suggesting it, lol! Work has been pretty nuts lately, but I'll try to do some research. If you guys could give me a list of the different types of systems, and who (if anyone) in the club is using those systems, that would help a lot!
