July 2014 Meeting Agenda
Meeting held at Lion Bridge Brewery - 33 in attendance
Old Business
• Club competitions-
o Today’s turn in is 6B Blonde Ale
o October turn in is 15C Weizenbock
o By Decree- January turn in is Founders Breakfast Stout – a clone competition
• Club competition- Dark Lager
o 1st: Cal -- 37.3
o 2nd Steven -- 36.3
o 3rd Dan -- 35
New Business-
• Welcome to any new attendees
• Grogtag discounts- Randy
• Upcoming Events
• NewBo Beer and BBQ
o 7-19-14 at 10 AM at NewBo
o Use of the template is suggested- Check the forum for the doc.
• Independence Brew B Q
o 8-23-14
o Brew for this. We plan for 10 kegs
• Cedar Rapids Beer Nuts Festival
o Forum sticky is up
o Next committee meeting is July 23rd at 3BB
o Kent has contacted all Iowa clubs.
o Free PSA from Clear Channel
o We have need for a “Tapmaster” for the fest. This person takes lead on managing the taplist.
o Adding a club Jockey box-
