Beer Club Holiday Party
Beer Club Holiday Party
When: December 6th
Where: 240 17th Avenue Ct in Hiawatha.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Hiawa ... code=52233
Time: 6 pm to 10 pm
I will probably do a chili and if I get crazy maybe some Jalapeno Wraps. I am pretty much out of all beer of the homemade variety and nothing in the works that will be ready in time.
To avoid 7 meat and cheese trays and 5 taco dips - please let us know what you are bringing and how many to expect. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions considering this is my first time hosting.
Attendance as of Friday: 21
Here is what is on the menu as of Tuesday 8:45 AM:
Smoked Appetizer
Cilantro Bean salad
Dessert of some sort
Crab cheese dip in a bread bowl
8 lb Coca Cola Ham
Chicken Tenders and maybe a dessert
Apple Pie and snack
Spinach Artichoke Dip or Chocolate Fondue
Bacon Jalapeno Wraps
Humus and Pita Bread
BBQ Pork
Bourbon Street Meatballs
Raspberry Cheese Ball
Beer - lots of Beer.

I guess there is the turduckin, that's three types of poultry in one, so two types of pork doesn't sound so bad after all. However, sausage wrapped in bacon sounds a bit rich. But sausage made out of bacon, now that's good eats! (I love bacon, don't we all?) Oh hell, I guess either way you look at it, I'll eat it and will enjoy it. I've split my vote. And, since I'm the only one who's voted, so far, you're back to square one in the decision making process, now aren't you??
