October 2014 Meeting
Meeting held at Bricks
Old Business
• Club competitions
o Turn-in is today for 15C Weizenbock
o January turn in is Founders Breakfast Stout – a clone competition
• Beer Nuts Fest
o Final tally is coming next meeting
o Funds will be sent to Pints for Prostates
o We are sending thank you e-mails to the participating clubs
New Business-
Welcome to any new attendees.
Upcoming Events
• Tech Meeting Off Flavors #1 – 11-10-14 at Lion Bridge-
o Acetaldahyde, Isoamyl Acetate, Grainy, Ethyl Butyrate, & Caprylic
• November is officer elections. October is a good time to declare candidacy.
o New cabinet position is being considered. Social Media Manager.
o Possible appointment of a Tech Czar.
• Holiday Party is at Mark Jensen’s. Date is 12-20-14
• Trailer instead of bus- Tim.
• Kirkwood has requested to have someone do CE courses regarding Homebrewing/Wine making /foodie stuff etc. Per Matt Murphy at Lion Bridge. $30/hr.
