This year is San Diego June 11 to 13

I thought I'd post this as the registration to enter the lottery is Feb 18-23.

Question is who's going? We'll discuss who would support bringing the bar and beer to club night / hospitality suite at a later date... ultimately I think it will depend on the turnout of the club.

I am going (provided I get a ticket in the lottery) but I'm flying. So unless we can redo the bar so it will fit underneath the seat I won't be able to help, but I'd like to see us represented again!

I would be willing to donate beer and help serve at Club night.

Like Jim, I'm planning on going assuming that I win the lottery (highly likely from what it sounds).

I'd definitely help out with Club night. I'd offer to drive the trailer out there, but my truck just wouldn't hack it for a trip that far.

I am out. The word "flight" automatically throws the trip out of my budget. Too far away for me.

Yep. Too far for me too. Plus, I'll be busy.

Guys, I'm looking into flying out via Allegiant. They fly directly from here to LA for pretty cheap airfares ($300 RT). It's nice to have a car in SD anyway for touring breweries. Also, AMTRAK from LA to SD is only about $37 each way. Downside is their flight schedule - days/times don't align well with NHC activities.

Plan B is to fly to Phoenix, flying days are better and it's cheaper ($250 RT), but it's about a 2 1/2 hour longer drive than from LA.

I'm thinking about going if fares are cheap enough. Not sure I want to do club night this time though. I'd rather be a spectator this time.

Not a chance it's in the cards for me this year.

I could go every year if it was always in San Diego. I just have to spend a few days with my wife's family beforehand.

Registration is open now to enter for the lottery. It only let me register for the full conference. They had said they were going to offer the Social package again this year but it wasn't an option. I'll give them a call before I pay (assuming my name gets drawn)

The "Social Package" was only available to "Guests."

I'm in the lottery. Fingers crossed, as I have booked airlines and rental car. I also have a lunch reservation at Stone up in Escondido.

Anyone got a football helmet I can borrow? And maybe a Kevlar vest, because my wife is going to kill me....

From the wording of today's email, if looks like we all got in.
