Rum Recommendation

Post by DrPaulsen »

I'm going to make another Rum-Barrel Wee Heavy but will just be soaking oak cubes in rum this time. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good dark rum?

Go local - Cedar Ridge makes a nice dark rum.

If you want decent quality, but staying on the cheaper side, there's Ronrico. And, you can probably find it in a small flask bottle.

Thanks. I'm out of dark rum anyways so cost isn't a big issue. I think I'll go with Cedar Ridge then.
