FS - 1 bottom drain keggle project $125

I can get photos, but it's simply a single 1/2 barrel keg with the bottom cut and a jaybird level 1 15" FB, hinge, handle, etc. no valves, no holes drilled in the side. I was planning a 3 vessel bottom drain using Bobby M's bottom drain and element kits, but have changed my build direction for the 50th time.

A true homebrewer. Is the brewery ever complete?

I am not like you and use the same setup for the past decade or more. I should, but I have never been considered terribly bright

Mine changed with almost every batch until about 5 years ago. I can tell you, my beers became more consistent once I stopped messing with stuff all the time. Allowed me to really focus on brewing. Changes lately have been small and have not changed my process much. It is nice to get comfortable with the brewhouse. That said, I would like to make a major overhaul in a few years as money allows. Not necessary, but I seem to have an itch that needs scratched. So much cool brewing equipment has hit the market after most of mine was complete.

If I stopped messing with my equipment, then I'd be "done".

No fun in that... I want to get a couple of more years out of this hobby if I can! ;)

Engineers...sigh...

I am upgrading my mill. Bought a high torque, low speed drill with a lockable trigger from Harbor Freight last week for around $44. Tired of switching batteries when my cordless would die during the crush. Picture is not mine but is where I got the idea. I bought the same drill.

I have almost identical to that minus that drill. I use my cordless still.

crossing my fingers, but I have never had an issue with debris yet. I have milled a lot with this setup in less than a year.

Anyone want to buy a slick bottom drain keggle?

Nice work Matt. As of now the keggle isn't for sale. Eventually it will get built as an electric HLT/BK
