I registered, but apparently the site won't allow me to add an entry yet.

Interesting... do they happen to have a pick-up location in the CR area? I see "pick-up locations" mentioned, but not listed anywhere. If I don't have to cover shipping (which is sure to be somewhat expensive) I might enter whatever I have on hand, just out of curiosity

If you have something ready to go by January 20, I may be able to get it a ride to Des Moines. I am thinking of entering something too. I will let you know.

Pick up location is in Ankeny. I'm going enter some things as soon as it allows me to add entries.

I will probably enter 6 or 7 entries (cider, mead, cyser, pyment, berry mead, melomel, and maybe even a beer). So I won't be shipping. I can probably drive to Ankeny the weekend of 20/21 Feb for the drop off. So I can probably pick up entries for other people at the club meeting on Thursday the 18th of Feb.

The entry function is working. I uploaded 5. There is a 400 entry limit. Mine were 014-018.

Side note: Is it worth becoming an AHA member?

I would say yes for me. I do like Zymurgy magazine that comes with the membership. The discounts at establishments has not done much for me as we do not have many discounts available in Cedar Rapids. You do have to be a member to attend the National Homebrew Conference so when (not if, you should go some time, it is awesome!) you want to go to that, it is a requirement to be a current member. Finally, they are the lobby group that represents our hobby. They are the organization that defends our right to homebrew. Homebrewing and alcohol in general are very much under attack and you want a seat at the table in America to defend your rights. If you have no seat at the table, someone else will buy your rights. Sorry folks, that's how it work in the good Ole USA.

My wife gave me an AHA membership for Christmas. One of the premiums was a Modern Homebrew Recipe book by Gordon Strong.

My subscription has not started yet. But, you can go online and request a complimentary copy of Zymurgy. I did that, and they sent the current newsstand issue.

I may not go to the conference this year, but I am definitely planning to go in the next year or two.

I entered today. 8 products in all.

So I definitely will be driving to the drop off location the weekend of the 20th-21st.
