A Trader Joes right here in Cedar Rapids? Rumor has it that they would like to expand to having at least one store in each state & Cedar Rapids has been considered as a possible location for Iowa.

Please go to the link below and request Cedar Rapids as a store location. Put in your thoughts about the store if you have been to one before. If you are not familar with the store, take the time to look at their website. Inexpensive, high quality foods of the kind we don't get around here! Think New Pioneer Co-op meets Target! Not to mention lots of interesting and cheap beer and wine - the famous "Two Buck Chuck" wines are a TJ exclusive!

Love Trader Joe's. I am shocked to hear they would be in Cedar Rapids. Commercial Real Estate is my business and I can't imagine them choosing to move to CR before Des Moines. Keep you fingers crossed and let them know we would love to have their store here.

I know that DM might be their likely first choice, but given the growth in the corridor, between CR and IC, we might stand a chance. We just need folks to go to their website and vote!!
