Looking for kegs and CO2

Does anyone have any kegs they might be willing to part with? Or an extra CO2 tank?

I'm just getting into keeping and have been slowly compiling stuff and this is where I'm at now.

Best place for CO2 tanks and refills: Hawkeye Fire

Note that you need to bring the tank straight home in the summer, as a hot car will cause overpressure and you will blow the safety valve.

Also, have you decided if you are going with PIN or BALL-lock kegs?

Let me take stock of what I have and see if I can let one go. I will try to remember to look tonight.

Anymore you can get new kegs for 70-100 bucks. Kills the used market or anyone wanting to sell their used stuff to new brewers to buy new ones. It's just not worth it anymore.

I have 10 I think and can't bring myself to part with anymore sorry.

Tell you what, I'll sell you 10 good, clean, used pin-lock kegs for $45/each, *with all disconnects* ($10 value per keg), delivered.

( why? Homebrewing.org has a sale right now for new ball lock kegs for $70+SH right now, and their shipping is reasonable when buying kegs in bulk. Used, dirty, ball lock kegs are $50+SH there currently)

Andrew, thanks for that offer. I'm actually looking to go with ball lock for the reason you mention. Lee found a couple he could sell me. I'll keep my eyes out for good used deals too but may end up just buying some new over time too.

Glad you are set to go.
My main reason for wanting to switch to ball, is that my 6-tap keggerator just barely fits 6 Pin-locks, which are slightly thinner and shorter. standard ball locks (8.5x24") would make it a easier fit to lift out a keg when there are 6 in it.

Andrew, are you still willing to part with some pin locks? I need 4 and would be happy to buy them from you.

Yes, you have great timing, as I have exactly 4 pin-lock kegs cleaned and sanitized right now.

I'll have to count my unused disconnects, but I'd definitely be able to get the right amounts of disconnects to you relative soon also, as I swap out more pin locks.
