Belgium Pale Ale Judging - Wed Aug 31 - Call for Judges
This is the call for judges, to judge the submissions for the Belgium Pale Ale competition.
Location is TBD - but will likely be Turner Alley or Lion Bridge.
The date is Wednesday, Aug 31, we will start at 7 PM.
We can get by with 4-judges, but six is much better. It is good to have a steward or two as well.
Please post if you can judge on one or both of these dates.
Lee Paulsen, Dan White, and I are in so far.
We will have three commercial calibration beers - and this is a very unique style - so jump and have some fun with this one.

Daryl,
As we discussed, I could help steward tonight, if everyone else was available on such short notice. I could help tomorrow if we started later, but I don't want to mess everything up, haha

Belgian Pale Ale Results
Here are the results of the Belgian Pale Ale Competition
1st - Pat McCullough
2nd - Matt Franklin
3rd - Cal Corrin
We had 5 entries and they ranged from Good to Very Good.
We are three-quarters of the way through our annual, in Club, competition; and here are your standings:
6 Points - Pat McCullough; 1st in Munich Helles and 1st in Belgian Pale Ale
4 Points - Matt Franklin; 2nd in American Stout and 2nd in Belgian Pale Ale
3 Points - Hunter Hills; 1st in American Stout
2 Points - Randy Carris; 2nd in Munich Helles
1 Points - Chris Zubak; 3rd in American Stout
1 Points - Fred Spinner; 3rd in Munich Helles
1 Points - Cal Corrin; 3rd in Belgian Pale Ale
It's a tight race, so turn in for the Baltic Porter will be for all of the marbles.
Congratulations to you for placing in our first three competitions; next year's styles will be announced at the September meeting.
