Beer Nuts Tasting Glasses

It has been suggested that our ability to judge will improve with better glassware; that is glasses like what you see at Lion Bridge...a Brandy style sample glass similar to:
http://egrandstand.com/libbey-3702-5-5o ... randy.html
The number we need for the competitions, it less than the minimum order. But if we do a group buy, we might be able to make this happen.
Wouldn't it be cool to be able to serve flights to your friends at home? So....would anyone like to buy some glassware?
I estimate it will be $5/glass; and that may or may not have the Beer Nuts Logo on it.
If you are interested, please post a reply with the number of glasses you would be interested purchasing.
Please post by Noon, Tuesday, September 6th. We can make a decision next week at the cabinet meeting.

Looks like
http://www.webstaurantstore.com/libbey- ... 13702.html has
muchbetter pricing for small orders, though they don't offer printing. 36 glasses will run you 2.25 each, shipped.

I would be willing to buy 6 glasses.

Thanks Andrew - this info, we won't need to buy as many...could buy just what I need....but we'll still open it up the club for a group buy.
If approved by the cabinet (this is still in the proposal stage), we will pursue the best price we can find...and finalize whether or not we etch or print anything on them.

I bought a case (24) of these from Webstaraunt. I like the glasses and the supplier.

They are exactly (or almost exactly) the same size and shape as the tasting glasses at Lionbridge.

That is a nicer style. Thanks Pat.

I also got a case of these for home use. Lovely glasses. Big enough to pour a 12 oz bottle and have room for a bit of foam.

The other option I was thinking would be if we ordered for the festival next year, but this would require inventory storage. And the price would also be higher for logo glasses
I've had good customer service from webstraunts when I've had issues in the past with orders.
I'd buy 6 tasters as well.

Webstaurant deal looks good. I like those glasses. I have collected 8 so far from LBB tasting events.
I'll toss out another option - I have 3 cases of the Libby 4.75 oz Pilsners (no logo). I'd be willing to sell a case (24) to the club at cost - $35.

We have our logo on file with Grandstand, so no setup charges. But (there's always a BUT), 2 case minimum (48), with shipping - $195. $4.05 each.

Basically the same glass as the ones at Webstaraunt -- Libby 3816 versus Libbey 13816. Both are 5 oz Belgian tasting glasses.

If we do order the brandy style tasters, I'm in for 3.

Looks like we have three choices:
1) Buy from Grandstand, and the glass will have our logo on the glass....these will be about $4.05 - $4.15 each.
http://egrandstand.com/libbey-3816-5-oz ... aster.html
2) Buy from Webstaurant, the glass will not have our logo...these will be about $2.65-$2.70 each.
http://www.webstaurantstore.com/libbey- ... 13816.html. These glasses are nice and stackable.
3) Buy from Webstaurant, the glass will not have our logo...these will be about $2.20-$2.25 each.
http://www.webstaurantstore.com/libbey- ... 13702.html. Not as nice as 2), but functional.
Myself, my prioritized choices would be 2), 3), 1). I placed 1) last, because I do not need the logo, but it would be fun.
Lee, Dan, Josh....you three expressed interest in buying....which would you prefer?

Yo' Daryl, Numbers 2 and 3 are the same glass. I think you meant something else for 3??
