All, the 2009 Benz fest is coming up this Saturday May 16, click here for more info http://www.benzbeveragedepot.com/conten ... =5/16/2009

The event starts at 1:00 pm, but for those who plan on volunteering to pour or more importantly those who are bringing kegs, or a few beers should come as early as 12-12:30 to start setting up. We have approx. six free tickets for those bringing beer and will cover those beyond bringing beer if we have less than six folks bringing kegs of beer and have other folks wanting to volunteer. We can also benefit from several other items for the event beyond beer.

I’ve spoke to Benz, and they said this year which is much like last with a few exceptions I requested are:

We will have several tubs for ice, for either kegs or bottle beer
We will be set up next to the door as we were last year
I’ve asked for 2 six foot tables as we were a bit cramped with 1 last year.
Ice will be provided just like last year
We might have an electrical outlet, but not positive.
Should have some tent coverage

Some other additional items I know I heard club members were bringing is:

three tap box- Tom??
one tap box – Travis
club banner – Larry
duct tape – larry
grease board - larry
club cards - Travis
rope - Larry

Some other items we could use are:

co2 tank
distro bar for at least 4 tanks
hook ups
extra cups for club samples
other informational brewing material
(grains, hops, etc.)

If your interested in contributing beer, or other supplies please sign up on this thread. And please copy the list to keep an going list of who is bringing what, and how much.

I will be bringing a keg of IPA. I can supply a CO2 tank as well, if needed. I can run 3 kegs off my gas manifold.

I will bring my beer down around 12pm. But I have to be at a flag football game @ 1pm. I will be back down to Benz before 2pm.

I'll bring a keg of my Trager Alt (I think that means Porter Alt in German) and can come around 12:30.

Does it matter that I don't have a club t-shirt?

List is updated below.

I'm planning on bringing my Tap-A-Draft system with a 6L keglet of Milk Stout on Nitrogen. I will plan to be there around Noon to help set up.

Tent or no tent, this time I'm bringing sunscreen as I'm peeling like a damned snake after Big Brew Day!!!

All, please make sure you update the list as you go, so we can keep track of what. I'm trying to catch up here and start this post going forward if you would copy and add. Also since I don't know all your stage names here, if you would use your real name on the list. Thanks Lee for following directions. :)

Please also note, we currently have all four taps loaded with kegs based on the below. And we are currently one co2 hookup short. Not fully sure where we are at with connections pin/ball?

If anyone else brings a keg, we will need more dispensing taps.

***Beer***
Keg (ball lock) Mt. Dew Wit – Travis
Keg (ball lock) Trager Alt - Lee
party pig Nitro Stout - Tony
Keg (ball or pinlock??) Cyser - Tom
Keg (ball or pinlock??) IPA - BrownBeard

***Supplies***
three tap box- Tom??
one tap box – Travis
club banner – Larry
duct tape – larry
grease board - larry
club cards - Travis
rope - Larry
club box/chips/cups - Larry
gas system 3 hookups (pin/ball??) - BrownBeard

Anyone think we should wear name tags this year? If I remember, I probably will.
