Ran across this Kickstarter for this automated air lock. Interesting idea, but a lot hinges on their algorithm. I might be curious enough to invest if the price were a bit lower (currently $119 each)!

Pretty cool. But a bit over the top, IMHO. I get a pretty good idea of what it's measuring by watching the time between blorps of the airlock. When it slows I know the yeast are starting to work on the cleanup. It's clever, but I think there's someone else doing the same idea. Perhaps the Cool brew gang?
