Is the best place to get these used still Marion Iron?
I'm looking at getting two unadulterated sankes for fermenting.

What do those usually go for? I might be willing to part with it, was going to do the same thing but never got around to it, 2 years later and still haven't touched the project.Steven P wrote:15.5

Just found that deposit on kegs is around the 30 and 40 buck range, id be ok with that price, or you could always buy one with beer, throw a party and keep the keg.Schwerkraftbrauer wrote:I think i usually see them for around 50 bucks on Craigslist or FB market place usually, dont know if that sounds right or not. Not sure what scrap price is at Marion iron
I understand there's that piece also. The one keg i have is 30 plus years old, taken out of a barn, the other was picked up by a garbage man ik on his route, what is the process of getting any money out of them Matt? Can i get deposit out of it even with no paperwork?Matt F wrote:Before people get on your case too much on this, keeping a keg after just paying the deposit is viewed as not cool by most folks in the homebrew community. Also technically illegal I believe.
