We have some amazing brewers in our club and the following club members have the metal (medal) to show it.

Here are the Beer Nuts who medaled in the 2018 IBU Open:

1st Place - Gold Medal - Category - Mead M3 Subcategory A - Fruit and Spice - Clint Larrison - Best in Show....AND....Best of Show

1st Place - Gold Medal - Category 21 - Subcategory B - Specialty IPA - NEIPA - Matt Franklin - Best in Show

2nd Place - Silver Medal - Category Mead M2 - Subcategory C - Berry Mead - Clint Larrison

3rd Place - Bronze Medal - Category 26 - Subcategory B - Belgian Dubbel - Matt Franklin

Outstanding results.

And, being BOS qualifies Clint for...."The homebrewer who wins the Best of Show in any AHA and Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) Sanctioned Competition is awarded one free entry into the AHA National Homebrew Competition—the world’s largest international beer competition."

If you login to the IBU Open website you can see scores. They updated the page with medal winners and BIS, It seems Clint won BIS for mead. Congratulations!
