We are currently at 11 Craft Breweries and 5 Home brew clubs. I sent 66 emails today to the breweries I have not heard a response from.

Coming to Festival; Lark Brewing, Wilson's Orchard, Iowa Brewing Company, Thew Brewing, Front Street, Limestone Brewers, Third Base (Have Matt Franklin explain this), Jefferson County Cider Works, Big's Brewpub, Clock House, Kalona Brewing.

Here is the list of breweries I do not have a written confirmation (Y or N) from. If you are in any of these breweries in the next couple of weeks find somebody to talk to about having them come down.
Jubeck New World Brewing, River Ridge Brewing, Second State Brewing, Single Speed Brewing, Toppling Goliath, 5ive Cities Brewing, Bent River, Contrary Brewing Company, Crawford Brew Works, Front Street Brewery, Great River, Green Tree, Lost Duck, Big Grove Brewery,Lion Bridge Brewing, ReUnion,The Quarter Barrel, No Coast

Magnets will be available at the monthly meeting on Thursday, and Happy Hour on Sunday.

Here is what I have for a poster. It is too busy. Taking one thing off of it makes it too weird. I'm going to wait for some feedback from the forum before I order them, but it will happen before Saturday. Let me know ASAP.

Don't Shoot Me,
But you're right it is too busy, you have listed in words but also logos for the same thing. Either remove the logos or remove the words and replace with the logos. Should clean it up some.

I like this redline suggestion on the poster.

I just did a cut/paste of the various pieces and re-ordered them to give an idea for a simpler layout.

Far right. Clean, easy to read, not too busy that people will ignore it. Also puts the fest logo and club logo right in your face.

Far right one, with one small change - swap Homebrew and Craft Beer, so Homebrew is first - it's our festival after all and that should be the emphasis. IMHO

Kurt Garretson of East Grove Meadery says he is interested in attending the Drink Local festival. He still needs to check his calendar, but if he is free, he is interested.

He can be contacted at:

Hmmmm. I noticed no-one invited Theresa at Millstream. Obviously an oversight.
