Cedar Rapids Brewing Society

This months Happy Hour is Sunday, July29th.


We will be pouring from 3 PM to 5 PM.

What is needed:

1) Volunteer workers; 2 minimum, but 3-4 would be good

2) Beer contributions; in bottles and/or growlers; kegs are acceptable but you will need to bring everything you need to dispense from your keg/kegs and containers/coolers to keep your brews cold. We will pour for at least two hours, and in 2 oz samples; so we will not need tons of beer, but it is nice to have 4-6+ varieties that we could offer. And, if you like, we can go past 5 PM, but that will be up to the volunteers hosting the Happy Hour.

Let's meet at LB around 2:30 PM to set-up and be ready to go at 3 PM.

This is a great opportunity to pour your brews and get feedback from like minded people who enjoy craft beer.

I can make it and I will bring beer...I'll edit this post when I figure out what I plan to bring.

I will bring a selection of:

The Warrior Queen - a British bitter
All That Saaz - a Czech Lager
Yard Sale on the Sea - a salted caramel ale
Charlie P's Wise Ass Ale - an amber British bitter

ABV on all of these is on the order of 6.5%

I might be able to make it ill update on Friday when i know for sure

I think I can make it to this one too.

If the Czech Pale judging is done, I'll have that. Probably some Irish Stout, and this year's Radioactive Cat [emoji250] all-Mosaic IPA.

Too much going on this week, my plan is to organize a judging session next week.

I will try to be there.

If I make it, I will have the last gallon or so of the Full Metal Jacket copper IPA.

I’m glad you enjoyed the sour. That was my first time with any kind of extended aging of a beer and I have to say I’m pretty happy with the result.

Thank you to everybody who came out and poured yesterday. I always get lots of great feedback from the staff and patrons about how good our beer is and how appreciative they are that we do this.
