This meeting is turn in for Bunged, correct? And people’s choice is this months LB Happy Hour if I remember correctly.

You are correct that the theme for the happy hour at LB will be the Bunged beers. However, this year we're not judging separately and there is no turn-in.

What??? No bottle turn-in? I jumped through major hoops and Jensen was kind enough to take custody of my bottles before I left on vacation. Just wanted the Board to know that these last minute changes have consequences.

Because the Bunged results do not contribute to the CRBS Brewer of the Year Award, it felt that it was not necessary to formally judge these entries.

I did not communicate that change to the membership, therefore, I will proceed and execute to the expectations of the membership and will have all entries that are submitted this evening (or those that can be submitted prior to the judging event), judged in a manner similar to last year's BUNGED event.

Please make sure your entry follows the AHA Guidelines for submission, as dictated by the style you are claiming for your entry.

Please use the AHA Bottle ID form for your entry....and please attach those forms to your bottle with a rubber band - Please do not tape the forms to your bottles.

The People's Choice Award, will occur as planned, at the September Happy Hour.

Note, that next year, there will be six opportunities to have your brews judged:
4 - Quarterly Competitions
1 - May Mead Melee
1 - Lion Bridge Wort Rally - at this point in time, the results of this event does not contribute to Brew of the Year....but I expect that will be a point of discussion as details of how this will be a "Sanctioned" event become available.

We will be exercising our Judging Team about every other month in 2019.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA
