Yamas (Cheers) from Crete

Post by tony b »

Enjoyed several local beers today at lunch. The beer from Chania (Lyra) was the best, but I was shocked that there was a saison. Craft beer is just starting up in Greece, as I learned chatting with the owner of the only craft beer bar in Thessaloniki - The Hoppy Pub. He and his business partners just held the 1st craft beer festival in Greece just about a month ago They are hoping to start their own brewery sometime next year.
