I know we have some hunters in the group, but any ice fishermen? Season is near, and looks to be early this year. I usually find myself trecking up to Guttenburg/Sny MaGill Effegy mounds area to fish back waters of the Mississippi. Have a lot of fun doing it, seldom go to Mcbride but mostly north because of familiarity of it all, jigging, and tip ups. Look forward to taking a growler or two of homebrew along for the expeditions this year. Find myself going a lot through the week but sometimes make it work for the weekends(less crowded through the weekdays).

Any other ice fishing knuckleheads in this group?

I love fishing. Hoping to go ice fishing for the first time this year!
