Hey all,
This year the Iowa festival of beers is going to take on a little different appraoch. They are going to be pre-selling tickets to this event. For logisitics reasons this only makes since this year as they had (I think) over 1000 people last year.
VERY IMPORTANT: please participate in the poll, we are looking at using this in order to pre-purchase tickets, so the entire club will be able to go in the event that they sell the tickets out for this years event. Also trying to poll as to who will be bring beer so we can figure out taps, CO2, and accessories required.
We attend this event as a club and distrubute home brew to the public. This is one of the frew Beer festivals that is open to the home brewers, so we as a club like to make a strong club showing and bring some of the best beers there. The past 2 years that I have attended our lines were some of the longest and many beer goers stated that we were serv'in the best beer at the festival.
So, please make an attempt to go ahead and get some brews ready for this event. It will be happening in mid-late September, so you could make almost anything right now and have it ready for the event. All proceeds from the event are donated to charity, so in addition to having a great time. You are helping a very worthy cause in the process.
