Barrel Aged Happy Hour at Lion Bridge

This months Happy Hour is Sunday, January 27th.
We will be pouring from 3 PM to 5 PM.
What is needed:
1) Volunteer workers; 2 minimum, but 3-4 would be good
2) Beer contributions; in bottles and/or growlers; kegs are acceptable but you will need to bring everything you need to dispense from your keg/kegs and containers/coolers to keep your brews cold. We will pour for at least two hours, and in 2 oz samples; so we will not need tons of beer, but it is nice to have 4-6+ varieties that we could offer. And, if you like, we can go past 5 PM, but that will be up to the volunteers hosting the Happy Hour.
You can sign-up here by responding to this post, to volunteer your time and/or beer.
Let's meet at LB around 2:30 PM to set-up and be ready to go at 3 PM.
This is a great opportunity to pour your brews and get feedback from like minded people who enjoy craft beer.
Feel free to e-mail (
twiggy2164@gmail.com) or PM me with questions/concerns/suggestions

I'm in, with 2 beers to share: Irish Coffee (my Frappuccino beer with Jameson soaked oak chips) and Drunken Nutella (nut brown ale with cocoa nibs, hazelnut extract & oak chips soaked in Cedar Ridge Lost Pirate rum).

I’m sure with all the great beers being served up by LB and our extra exposure from their advertising will pull in a large crowd. Any and all homebrews are welcome to be poured.
It’s also the first chance to get your name in the drawing for gift cards at the 2019 Holiday Party. Not gunna lie, I’m going put my Lion Bridge gift card to good use this month (since Matt found it [emoji1787]).

Well if you didn't drink my RIS on Canadian whiskey soaked oak chips already there's that, and I'll try to get you a bottle or two of that oaked tincture brown ale i had at the meeting.
You'll be trying the RIS before i will, I'm trying to hold off till February/ March before i crack one open.

I'm bringing a Pilsner kissed by Brandy barrel chips, and a Stout on wiskey barrel chips.

I may come with some of my Port infused French Oak English Barleywine, if I have enough.

Very cool. I will likely not make it. Kid has a soccer game at 4. See what I can do.

My homeowners association scheduled a meeting at the same time. It is unlikely that I will make it to Lion Bridge.

Big crowd, big beers, and a lot of fun.
The club was very well represented by the Happy Hour Barrel-Aged Beers, thanks to our brewers, all of the beers were really good and I think those that attended enjoyed sampling them.
Thanks Travis for doing a great job of organizing this event, what a way to kick off the year!
This would be an excellent annual event for us.

Great job dudes. Wish I could have been there.
We should start posting pictures of these events on here and our social media outlets.
