Benz is doing a Belgium tasting this Wednesday. John and I are planning to attend. Hope to see some more club members there.

I will try to be there, as long as the crowd isn't huge. Benz has a respectable amount of Belgiums.

It's Belgians (not Belgiums) guys. Sorry, one of my pet peeves.

This is on the calendar for the 29th, not this wednesday.

My bad. Yes, it is NEXT Wednesday (the 29th). Just eager, I guess, to drink yummy beers from Belgium!

How was the event, I figured I had most of the beers all ready, and Benz can often times be rather crowded as you wait to have your next lick of beer.

I have to admit it was one of the more popular events of late in terms of turnout - translates into lines. However, they moved pretty quickly.
Here's the list of beers served: Blanche de Namur, Blanche de Bruxelles (note: reported to be on tap at the Sanctuary in IA City), Lindemans Kriek, Liefmans Frambroise, Piraat, St. Feuillien Brune, Houblon Chouffe, Chimay Premiere, Wostyntje Mustard Ale, Vuuve White Ale, Bierre du Boucanier Dark, and Orval.
My fav - Blanche de Bruxelles (aka Mannekin Pis).
