Cedar Rapids Brewing Society

We're looking for opinions or ideas for next year's Bunged competition. We'll most likely do this as a part of the fest again and have a people's choice rather than formal judging. If you have any other ideas post here. We'll create a poll to vote for what the choice will be. Here's some of the ideas:

Hard Candy
Candy Bars
Root Vegetable (i.e. sweet potato, carrots etc.)
No-boil

I think there were a couple others proposed at the meeting but I can't recall. So post here if you have any ideas.

Cocktail/ mixed drink was another idea i think

I like hard candy, that’s where I’d place my vote.

This has by far the most interest at the meeting.

Id go for candy bars, lots of choices.
What classifies as hard candy?
Jolly ranchers, m&ms?

Or maybe any non-chocolate candy.

That'd be a better assortment of beers imo, not as many dark Malt focused beers for summer

I like the cocktail idea
