CRAZE Video Conference on Water Chemistry - 4/16 7PM

The CRAZE homebrew club has invited us to participate in their online April meeting; which will me a discussion on water chemistry conducted by Roy Ventullo. Roy is a Professor Emeritus at Wartburg College and, Brewer and Director of Lab Services at Lark Brewing Company.

You can participate by following the instructions contained in the following announcement from CRAZE:
The April CRAZE Meeting will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 7:00pm. Due to the current situation with the virus, we will not meet as a group in one location. Instead, we will have a virtual meeting hosted by Roy “Doc” Ventullo (retired microbiology prof and lab guy at Lark Brewing) on water chemistry and Brun water. We will be using ZOOM, the #1 rated video conferencing software currently used by almost every college. He will be demonstrating Bru’n Water program, effect of different water profiles on light and dark beers mashes and answer water chemistry questions.

DETAILS:

You will be able to see me and fellow participants and the BRUN water spreadsheet so we can see the effect of starting water profile on MASH pH. While you do not need a camera (we will not be able to see you) but you can see and hear him and others as well as talk to everyone. You will need a microphone and speakers. When you click the link you will be asked to download Zoom (it is free and painless) and then it will take you to the session.

I hope folks will be able to make it tonight....which just happens to be a Member Meeting day.
Hopefully we'll be able to get back together by June.

I plan to be on for at least some of the call. Depends on what is happening around the house tonight.
