Looks like a decent deal to me. A full all-grain system with everything you need, three kettles, vacum pump, wort chiller, etc... for $500 and free delivery.

I like the sealed-tanks/vacuum-pump idea.  It lets you move the hot liquids around with a much cheaper pump.

No concern about matching the flow rate either.

Yeah, but I'd think you'd need to be very careful to avoid a stuck sparge. Not sure how you'd vorlauf, either (manually I suppose). Still, very clever.

Whats the deal with this note:

(Please Note: we recommend using a glass carboy or a stainless fermenter ONLY with the VacuBrew. Do not use a plastic bucket, plastic carboy, or anything else that cannot handle heat. These plastic fermenters have been know to shrivel and shrink if the wort transfers over at too hot a temperature, spewing hot wort all over the place.)

Shouldn't the wort be down to at least 65 - 80 degrees if you are brewing with an ale yeast. Or is this a legal CYA?

I would think it would be cool. Not sure how the chiller vacum thing works. I imagine they have a video or manual somewhere to read more on it.

Not sure I understand that either. If it goes through a chiller, why would you have hot wort going into your fermenter? And if you do have hot wort going in, I don't think glass would be ideal either.
If I really cared, I suppose I could go to morebeer's forum.
